Mindfulness Meditation

Join us as we explore the practice of mindfulness both in and outside of the classroom. Students and professors alike deal with the stress of study, personal obligations as well as navigating the shifting terrain of higher education. Faculty will learn the activities and skills that will cultivate mindfulness in the courses they teach and in their personal lives. The practice of meditaion allows one to gain a higher level of focus and clarity in both the professional and personal space, along with learning to control the breath will bring about calmness and a stronger will power in stressful situations.
